So hey, turns out that even after using one, I still hate Macs. At first I hated them for their pretentious commercials, but now I find using them obnoxious as well. Since my laptop bit the dust, I'm stuck using Scudder's Macbook Pro. Oh it has its good points, I assure you. A lot of them are superficial, though. I kinda dig the side dock, but in all fairness it's not much different than Windows' task bar. I don't like how suddenly the menus for everything appear at the top whenever you pull it up. Like when pulling up AIM, instead of going to the top of the AIM window to hit "File" or something, all those menus are suddenly at the top where they are when you have a browser opened. It threw me off for a while. Mac's version of the right click is sometimes stubborn to work, I often have to hit the Caps Lock key twice for it to come on (which is important to me since I use it and not Shift to capitalize).

Also, WHO DECIDED THE EDGES OF THIS LAPTOP SHOULD BE SHARP?! It's killing my forearms. That's where they rest when most people type, dumbasses. The charger pops in magnetically, so it's easily knocked out - a bit annoying. And the touchpad does this zooming thing if you glide two fingers across it, which is a little irritating. Not to mention the notorious "OH GOD MY LAP IS MELTING" heat issue Macbooks have. So far the battery life has been impressive though. And it's kinda pretty to look at. I like how the keys are spaced apart. That's about it.

There you go, my Macbook review. So lately I was stressing out over some issues with Scudder. He's been playing WoW too much. And when he's on there with his guild members I get sick of hearing him talking to/about his "favorite" female member, Missy. Or Missi. However the fuck she spells it. Anyone who willingly goes by the name "Missi" is retarded in my book. He works half the day, comes home, spends the rest of the day on WoW until after I've gone to bed. So he spends more time with some online people and Missi than me, and I live with the guy. Plus he apparently has Missi's number. I cannot explain to you how retarded I feel for getting jealous of some chick he plays WoW with. But come on. He's both logical and really picky about women, so if I get the feeling he's showing any interest in one, I get really threatened. I worry that if/when someone better than me comes along, then he'd have little issue with leaving me. I hate thinking that way about him, 'cause I know he loves me to death, but sometimes I can't help it. It's not really an issue I've had to deal with before, much. And since he never checks deviantart I can just vent here instead of sneaking off and doing it somewhere else so he can't see. Woo. But anyway, since I kinda whined yesterday about him always playing WoW he's been waiting until it's time for he and his guild to raid to get on, so until then he sits and watches TV with me. Yay. I feel better.
